BNSD Inter College

Bishambhar Nath Sanatan Dharam Inter College is one of the oldest intermediate colleges of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, teaching up to class XII. It has served Kanpur since 1939.

Notable alumni

• Ashoke Sen, theoretical physicist and a Fellow of the Royal Society who made contributions to string theory, including his landmark paper on strong-weak coupling duality or S-duality,
• Harish-Chandra, mathematician, who did fundamental work in representation theory, especially Harmonic analysis on semisimple Lie groups. From 1968, until his death in 1983, he was IBM von Neumann Professor in the School of Mathematics at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton.
